Scheduled for Sunday, January 7th, the annual Golden Globe Awards are set to return for a collaborated celebration of the film and tv industry. American comedian and actor, Jo Koy, will host the 2024 Golden Globes according to his very own twitter post which states, “So excited to announce that I will be hosting the 2024 @goldenglobes Make sure to tune-in on Sunday, January 7 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT — airing live on @CBS and streaming on @paramount plus” (Koy, Dec. 23, 2023).

For the specific category, Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy, it is such a full circle moment to see so many talented and accomplished woman alongside one another in the representation of their talent including Jennifer Lawrence, Margot Robbie, Emma Stone, Natalie Portman, Fantasia Barrino, and Alma Pöysti. The wide range of talent is applicable to all the other categories as well, where there is a gathering and variety of several successful and connected careers which will be incredible to watch as we see these individuals interact as they come together to celebrate for the 81st Golden Globe Awards.
